DESCRIPTION:Understand how cultural differences can show up in the workplace—and what to do about them. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCultural competency isn’t just about inclusion—it’s a strategic advantage\, especially now. \nJoin us for this 90-minute virtual session where we’ll explore practical ways to strengthen communication\, collaboration\, and understanding in diverse teams. \nWe’ll walk through Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions—a foundational framework to help you understand how cultural differences show up in the workplace\, including: \n🔹 Power Distance\n🔹 Time Sense\n🔹 Uncertainty Avoidance and more \nFrom there\, we’ll apply what we’ve learned to real-world scenario discussions. She has specialized in DEI training for over five years\, and has worked closely with employers. Her experience in community organizing spans over a decade\, and was a founding member of the Anti-Racism Coalition of NL.
