Amal Wellness is a Not‑for‑Profit organization providing professional counselling and acupuncture services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. The name Amal comes from the Arabic word أمل, meaning hope, reflecting our commitment to ethical, thoughtful, and collaborative care. Our services are offered in a warm, inclusive, and confidential environment, with availability for both in‑person and virtual appointments.
Our Clinical Team
Services at Amal Wellness are delivered by a multidisciplinary team that includes Clinical Social Workers, Clinical Psychologists, Certified Counsellors, a Certified Play Therapy Supervisor, and Traditional Chinese Acupuncturists. All practitioners work within their respective scopes of practice and professional regulatory standards. Care is individualized and guided by assessment, informed consent, and ongoing collaboration with each client.

Acupuncture services are delivered following assessment and informed consent and are distinct from counselling and psychotherapy services. Clients may choose to access acupuncture services independently or alongside counselling services, where appropriate. Any coordination of care occurs only with client consent and within established ethical and professional boundaries.

Complementing our counselling services, our Wellness Centre associates provide a diverse range of holistic health and wellness programs for children, youth and adults.
Our health and wellness programs are offered in a variety of forms and attend to the diverse needs and interests of our community. We offer both group and private programming ranging from one-time sessions or workshops, recurrent open or closed classes, individual sessions, and retreats. In addition, our team offers a range of therapeutic and psychoeducational groups. All services are accessible and inclusive and are facilitated in a safe, welcoming environment.
