Over nine weeks, they engaged in intensive training, mentorship, and hands-on experiences designed to equip them with the skills necessary to start their own businesses in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Program Highlights

Practical Training: Participants received real-world business training, covering everything from idea development to execution.

Mentorship: Our dedicated mentors, Constanza Safatle and Mimi Sheriff, played a crucial role in the success of the program.

Constanza Safatle:
Award-winning entrepreneur and Founder of Newbornlander, Constanza brings a wealth of experience from her background in commercial law and her advocacy for immigrants. She has even faced the Dragons’ Den, inspiring participants with her journey from challenges to success.

Together, Constanza and Mimi provided practical skills and invaluable insights to the participants of the NEE program.

Innovative Business Pitches: The program concluded in an exciting pitch day where participants presented their business ideas, showcasing their creativity and hard work.

Building Confidence: Participants gained the confidence and skills needed to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
