Virtual Session: Workplace Culture: Bridging Cultures, Strengthening Teams

May 22, 2025 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Understand how cultural differences can show up in the workplace—and what to do about them.

Cultural competency isn’t just about inclusion—it’s a strategic advantage, especially now.

Join us for this 90-minute virtual session where we’ll explore practical ways to strengthen communication, collaboration, and understanding in diverse teams.

We’ll walk through Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions—a foundational framework to help you understand how cultural differences show up in the workplace, including:

🔹 Power Distance
🔹 Time Sense
🔹 Uncertainty Avoidance and more

From there, we’ll apply what we’ve learned to real-world scenario discussions. Together, we’ll explore how cultural expectations impact day-to-day interactions and decision-making—and how to identify whether the responsibility to adapt lies with the employee, the employer, or both.

🕒 When: Thursday, May 22, 2025 | 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM (NST)
Length: 90 minutes, including a short 10-minute break
🎧 What You’ll Need: A working microphone (video encouraged)
