Welcome to The National Connector Program at AMAL Unite & Empower! This Canada- wide initiative, active in over 32 communities, connects skilled newcomers with local professionals to help them integrate into the local job market. By quickly expanding their professional networks and creating ties to the community, we aim to foster community and economic growth in Newfoundland and Labrador.
How It Works:
The Connector concept is simple and powerful. It engages community and business leaders (Connectors) to help newcomers (Connectees) build professional networks.

For Connectees, the program offers a chance to settle into the community, gain valuable job advice, and tap into hidden job markets. They also get to meet industry insiders and take part in engaging networking opportunities.
For Connectors, the program offers a way to enhance their corporate social responsibility, give back to the community, and support local talent development. It allows them to open doors for newcomers, help them set down roots in the community, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive environment. Additionally, Connectors gain access to a pool of pre-qualified job seekers, benefiting their industry and workforce.
