Group Hike – Rennie’s River Trail

Join us for a scenic group hike along the beautiful Rennie’s River Trail!
Rennie’s River Trail is a scenic, moderately challenging inner-city route in St. John’s that takes approximately 2 hours to complete. Our group walk will begin at Dominion on Lake Avenue and take us through a peaceful wooded valley, alongside Rennie’s River, and through long-established residential neighbourhoods.
Along the way, you’ll pass historic sites such as Rennie’s Mill and the former Memorial Stadium, with opportunities to enjoy quiet reflection, bird watching, and beautiful natural surroundings.
We’ll make frequent stops so you can fully take in the trail’s sights, sounds, and stories. The walk will conclude at Confederation Building, but those who wish are welcome to join us for a return walk along the trail.
Whether you’re here for the history, the fresh air, or the company, this hike offers a relaxing and rewarding way to explore the heart of St. John’s.
